I am a practical and optimistic educational leader, with over 12 years’ leadership and teaching experience in both Primary and Secondary schools. This experience also includes 2 years experience in an International School in Saudi Arabia. Currently, I am the Assistant Principal at Multinational School, Riyadh. I am an academic achiever with high expectations for myself and the professional environment that I am in. I possess excellent interpersonal and listening skills, gaining the respect of students and staff. I also have a positive rapport with parents and the wider community. I am approachable and fair-minded with regards to behavior management and am experienced in dealing with parents. As an organised and methodical senior manager, I am able to prioritise well to achieve effective multitasking. I am analytical and resourceful when faced with a problem that possesses the determination to see a project through to successful completion. Linking Minds Scholarship - Wales August 2014
I was one of four teachers out of seventy who applied to gain the prestigious international award for young teachers who identify themselves as emerging leaders. The theme for the experience was professional leadership, bilingual and immersion education. I was fortunate to travel to Wales for 2 weeks, to link up with Welsh teachers and principals, develop their leadership potential, reflect on their teaching practice, and examine language immersion settings in Welsh schools.
